Yep, it’s time to put on the big boy pants…Safal Niveshak completes seven years today. 🙂
I started with a simple idea in 2011, that of helping people become better at their stock market investment decisions. The idea was just that, and I had no clue how I would do it (I still have no clue about the future!)
However, a lot has happened in these seven quick years – and the tribe is reading 50,000 members – but as with any kid of this age, we’re just getting started.
Most of all, I want to thank you for “raising” this initiative to this point — it truly could not have happened without you, dear tribe member.
I know I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating – Thank you so much for reading, for commenting, for your interest and support, for helping this entire movement of creating smarter and independent stock market investors become greater and spread wider.
You are magnificent, and I am supremely grateful for your time and attention.

Need to tell a bit of background before connecting to Safalniveshak.
2012, I started reading books on investing. (Prior to that, I was on a long leave from markets after burning my fingers in 2008.). I did read many books on investing. But was not satisfied, I was in search of some material or book that would talk about investing in Indian Context.
By a mere luck, somewhere in 2013, I found your blog through web search. I was quite happy to get a quality blog, in Indian context. I started reading all your earlier articles and could realize, the gap between what I read from books and the Indian reality. Subsequently, I attended one of your workshop. Even now, once a year, I re-read many of your blog, which I had identified to ‘re-read’.
Your writings gave me many a insights of investment in Indian context, which helped me to chalk out my investment path

Thank you from the bottom of my soul for all the beautiful stuff you have written.
First my apologies for not keying this earlier. I have been reading lots of stuff that people key on the markets. None have impressed me to the extent that you have written. I read your twitter comments too and have watched you on ET Now. I have noted the books you recommend and what is endearing to me is your spiritual side. This is what caught my attention and i have seen that outlook in all your writings. The energy that i sense from your articles are relaxing and peaceful. You do not get excited about the markets and i sense your excitement is about being able to spread the message of abundance. You teach how to fish and that is what makes you so different from the others. In my perspective, a real teacher.
It gives me such happiness to read about your interest in moulding kids and getting them to understand the markets at a young age. Its so important because in this age of such distractions and disruptions; one needs a perspective and that can only be realised when these kids are shown the right path.
I like your style of writing – its simple and one does not need to refer to a dictionary. Another thing i like is the way you bring real life incidents and corelate with the markets. Probably the only thing i cant agree with you is when you mentioned on your twitter that history is one subject that you wouldnt wish in a curicullum. I love history and probably that is the only divergence that i have with you until now.
Keep writing and keep increasing the tribe. Today’s investors are being fooled or may i say are living in a fool’s paradise by listening to the false news peddled. I prefer to keep this letter positive and therefore refrain from mentioning my views on this spiked out markets. The world gets murkier and nastier and its teachers like you who can shed light on the path of wisdom.
I will surely come to see you and thank you in person because I see you as an honest and selfless gentleman. Keep writing and have a beautiful life ahead. Congratulations on this achievement and feel blessed to be able to help and serve others. Let me end this on a statement that my mother always makes -”there are lots of lucky people in this world, but there are fewer who are luckier and those are the ones who help others unconditionally”. Heartiest congratulation on a path of the journey to becoming adult. I am thankful as I had learned a lot in the past two years of association. Your first PDF on mental models had taught me a lot and suitable links to videos of youtube had shown the path to understand about the mind. The conditioning of the mind on the regular basis is extremely important to live a happy and purposeful life. This is the software which needs to be tuned to all positive thoughts otherwise it will get corrupted. The positive approach to life acts as an antivirus to the mind.
Life is a continuously evolving process and I think it is to be true to Safal Niveshak. My special thanks to Mr. Vishal who is giving so much without any consideration. My blessings to him and his family. The show must go on.
I am a student of technical analysis… have learned fundamental analysis but my process is very simple… and Psychology have ingrained in my blood stream because you name it and have read so many books on psychology and stock investing
..also read articles on Google… YouTube….. and I would proudly like to acknowledge that I was introduced by Parag Parikh on the psychology part….the books he has written is just amazing…. very simple and easy to understand…
Also about safalniveshak team you people are diamonds…. what you are doing is something very few people have the know how and best is that you gain knowledge only when you part with it…. because I easily understand your process I would go to the extent of saying that in investing your team should receive the award equivalent to Padma Bhushan….. keep up the good work because I still believe that 95% of so called investors come and lose their hard earned money to the 5% smart investors…..

Could you think about making membership continuously paid? Say just Rs10/month. This meager amount gets deducted every month from our credit card. Even if only 10% subscribe initially. You stand to make Rs 50000 per month. Then you could give the actual paid course to all your members as part of your goal to help max people with their stock decision. As members increase, your income is likely to cross 500000 per month. That too perpetual income. I don’t suppose anyone would unsubscribe a monthly Rs 10 gateway to financial wisdom. A truly crowd funded financial education.!!!

Keep your services free, if you really mean how simply you started. It is when you cross a magic number of subscribers that you want to create a ‘free version’ and a ‘paid version’.
There will always be strong believers, believers and doubters of value. So, do not forget that marketing model to keep the ‘free going’ and also providing a ‘good service to the common investor out there’.
Outside of that, I am relatively new to you and like what I see, so I have not joined the ‘strong believer’ camp yet, but like what I see, and will read more of your writing from now on knowing that you are 7 years into the writing.
